This is a such a tasty carnivore dinner! Yes steak is a staple but sometimes ya just want to mix it up.
Also, I normally eat a ribeye for the extra fat but love a good filet. So to add some more fat, I make this buttery, creamy shrimp topping.
This recipe is NOT on how to make a steak... just a hea'ds up.
While the steak is almost done cooking in the sous vide, I start with melting butter in a pan. In a bowl, I’m adding my precooked shrimp, some avocado oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
I mix it up well and then pour into the butter and let cook for 2 minutes on one side, then flip and cook another 2 minutes.
Eating carnivore for us is about many things… 1. Simplicity 2. Reduction of inflammation 3. Reset of our metabolism and elimination of any cravings but there are tons of more benefits.

After sauteing them, I removed the shrimp and add 1/3 cup of heavy whipping cream and 1 cup of shredded parmesan cheese.
I stir well until the cheese is all melted.
After that, I add the shrimp back in and cover with the cheese sauce.
This is supper for us. On this particular day we had one other meal consisting of eggs, bacon and ground beef.
I have the ingredients for this creamy shrimp topping posted below and this made enough for 4 people although it’s carnivore so if you feel the need for more, eat it.
Last… after my steak is done and seared, I just top with the creamy shrimp sauce.
