Low Carb Biscuits & Gravy


This is a yummy twist on biscuits and gravy. Be sure to save this one.


For the biscuits I added baking powder to almond flour and mixed well then add salt, garlic powder and chili powder and mixed again.


I added 2 tbsp of cold butter and cut up until mixture was crumbly then added 3 whisked egg whites and folded in to the batter.


I spooned into a muffin pan and baked for 12 minutes.


For the gravy I browned sausage and set aside. I combined cream cheese heavy whipping cream and whisked for a couple minutes then added the sausage back along with some chicken broth. Add more broth if you want it "gravier"


The gravy is definitely my favorite part.


Biscuits:

1 ½ almond flour

2 tsp baking powder

2 tbsp COLD butter

3 egg whites

½ tsp salt

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp chili powder


Gravy:

1 lb Breakfast Sausage

2 oz cream cheese

½ cup HWC

¼ cup broth

Salt and Pepper to taste
