The Facelift Comfort Guide
Everything I wish I'd known, written from inside my own recovery.
When I started posting about my facelift, my messages filled up with the same questions over and over. Not medical questions. Practical ones. What did you buy? How long do you need help? What does it actually feel like?
This is my answer to all of them, in one place.
It covers the parts nobody writes about. Choosing a surgeon and the questions I wish I'd asked. Setting up a recovery space that actually works. What I bought and used, what I bought and never touched, and the small things that made the biggest difference. What the day of surgery is really like, from the six-thirty alarm to waking up on the other side. How to fill the hours when you can't see well enough to read your own phone. And the day that catches almost everyone off guard, which is not the day you think it is.
There's a whole section written for your caregiver rather than for you, meant to be handed straight to them. And it comes with a separate printable Comfort Kit: your consultation questions, supply list, recovery room setup, master checklist and a caregiver quick sheet.
One thing to know before you buy. I'm writing this from inside my own recovery, not from the far side of it. Everything in here is something I've already lived through, and I've deliberately left out anything I haven't. The later weeks are still ahead of me. I'll be adding them, and if you have this guide, you'll get that update free.
What's included:
Nine chapters covering before, during and after. A tear-out section for whoever is taking care of you. Every product I actually used, with why. A checklist for each stage. Plus the separate printable Comfort Kit.
Choose your format
Standard Edition is sized for letter paper, so the checklist and caregiver pages print properly at home. Best if you want to print any of it, or you'll be reading on a laptop or tablet.
Mobile Edition is formatted for your phone. Bigger type, no pinching and zooming, easy to scroll through one-handed while you're propped up in bed and can't focus on much. Which, speaking from experience, is most of that first week.
Both come with the printable Comfort Kit. Buy once, get the edition you want.

This guide is my personal experience, not medical advice. Your surgeon's instructions always come first.
