Low Carb Skillet Chicken and Mushrooms



This is exactly the kind of food that I ate while losing 70 lbs.  Save this recipe cuz it’s a top fave for me!


Start with seasoning 2 large chicken breasts that have been halved.  Sprinkle salt, pepper and garlic powder on both sides.

In a skillet saute po

rtabella mushrooms in olive oil and butter, adding liquid aminos and dried thyme.  Cook for about 5 minutes then remove from pan.


Add more oil and then place your chicken in the pan and cook for 3 minutes on both sides.


Add some heavy whipping cream to your mushrooms and then pour on top of the chicken.


Top with mozzarella cheese and grated parmesan cheese and place in over at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.

INGREDIENTS:

2 large chicken breasts (halved)

Salt and pepper to taste

½ tsp garlic powder

2 tbsp olive oil (divided)

1 tbsp butter

8 oz portobello mushroom slices

1 tbsp liquid aminos

1 tsp dried thyme leaves

¼ cup HWC

1 ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated parmesan cheese
