If you’re trying to stay on track this holiday weekend but still want to enjoy all the party food, I’ve got you.

One thing I’ve learned after losing 70 pounds is this: you do not have to skip the fun foods. You just have to make them work for your goals.

These 5 low-carb dips are easy, crowd-friendly, packed with flavor, and perfect for backyard BBQs, pool days, or fireworks with family. The best part? Even the people who aren’t eating low carb will love them.

1. Jalapeño Popper Dip

Creamy, cheesy, spicy, and loaded with bacon. This one disappears fast.

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup sour cream

  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 4 jalapeños, diced

  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 green onions, sliced

  • Optional: ½ cup parmesan for topping

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, half the bacon, half the jalapeños, and 1 cup cheddar. Spread into a baking dish and top with remaining cheese, bacon, jalapeños, green onions, and parmesan. Bake for 20–25 minutes until hot and bubbly.

Serve with: celery, cucumbers, mini peppers, or pork rinds.

2. Buffalo Chicken Dip Buffalo chicken dip

This is one of my favorite high-protein dips because it feels indulgent but keeps me on plan.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken

  • 8 oz cream cheese

  • ½ cup ranch dressing

  • ½ cup buffalo sauce

  • 1 cup mozzarella

  • ½ cup cheddar

  • Optional: blue cheese crumbles

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix softened cream cheese, ranch, buffalo sauce, chicken, and half the cheese. Spread into a baking dish and top with remaining cheese. Bake for 20 minutes until bubbly.

Serve with: celery, bell peppers, or low-carb chips.

  • 2 tbsp mustard

  • 2 tbsp sugar-free ketchup

  • ½ cup diced pickles

Staying on Track During the Holidays

Holidays used to completely throw me off. Between the snacks, the sweets, and the “I’ll start over Monday” mindset, it was easy to spiral.

Now I’ve learned how to enjoy the food, stay in control, and still feel good.

One thing that has helped me stay consistent is using Keto//K1 natural ketones. They help me stay on course, keep my energy up, control my appetite, and give me clear focus — especially in this season of life when hormones can make everything feel harder.

For me, they’ve been a huge support through perimenopause and beyond.

If you want to try them for yourself, you can grab a 5-Day Sample Pack here:https://www.katehigdon.com/product-page/k-1-beta-tester-5-pack

Enjoy the dips, enjoy the holiday, and remember… you can have both progress and a life.
